Habits are just that, doing the same thing over and over again. Good habits are trained, they don’t happen by accident. I have to keep reminding myself to do the things that I have to do in order to acheive the things that I want. A shift in my workout schedule is causing a bit of disorder in my eating habits but that will sort itself in a few days time.
Pre endurance ride I am concentrating on hydrating every day and maintaining carb levels so that I don’t bloat myself off of the bike. In the next couple of days I am more concerned with fat intake than any other consideration. The all day ride will burn about 8,000 calories and I want to make sure that there is plenty of resources available at ride time. Packet pick-up tomorrow, woot!
